History
Our company, Fémker Metal Trading and Secondary Raw Material Utilizing Company Limited was founded in 1990. Its basic activity covers collection, pre-processing, processing in accordance with partners' requiements, utilization and on-time delivery of scrap, raw materials of the industry, non-ferrous metals with different content, iron scrap, secondary raw material of the industry, metallurgical raw materials.
Being suppliers of mainly end-users we are present on the market offering most competitive prices on both domestic and international markets.
Headquarters of our company is in Győr's Industrial Park. Our scrap-processing facility has 27.000 sqm fulfills all due and relevant environmental requirements. Storing, sorting, cutting, bale-pressing and preparation of the scrap for transportation is all done here.
Another affiliate is located in Dombóvár's Kaposszekcső Industrial Park, specialized in taking and processing iron and non-ferrous scrap.
In 2007 our company purchased Murafém Ltd. where we have a turnover of 100.000 tons of iron scrap annually.
In 2008 we purchased a new affiliate in Mezőcsát, lying on 3 hectars and with full infrastructure and a rail-line for hosting 16 vagons at once. We expect a significant turnover in iron and non-ferrous scrap here.
Our group has 90 employees and has a turnover of 15.000 tons a month. By this quantity our group is ranked among the biggest Hungarian scrap processors with an annual income of 17.000 Million HUF.
In order to fulfil partners' requirements we introduced MSZ EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality Assurance System which is being developed permanently.
Services
We have the best staff and technical equipment to process scrap at the highest level possible. The founders and present team has experience in trading of scrap of several decades. Our technical background has been established to maintain up to date level on the market.
Transportation is mainly done by our own vehicles: 9 pieces of multilift-container trucks, with 200 pieces of 30-36 cbm containers, 9 pieces of 80 cbm tipper trucks. We always organize loadings and transports to serve our partners by best service in accordance with its requirements. Our staff at the Logistics Department is available 24 hours a day.
Transports of scrap is always designed so that it does not bother or interrupt production at our partners' facility by any means. We also do offer containers of any size and pieces defined by our partner to be placed at its facility. We can also offer handling of both recyclable and hazardous scrap as well by separate agreement.
We offer our service for both scrap yards and production sites as well. Our company offers environmental service with regard of the activity of our partner and the governing legal regulations by providing:
- Preparation of environmental regulations and code of processes, controlling and maintaining them.
- Preparation of environmental reports and declarations.
- Taking measures in case of waste governed by legal regulations.
- Control of noise-, air-, and water pollution emission limits, advisory activity, preparing necessary documents.
- Personal presence and contribution at site controls of the Environmental Authority.
- Control of places of work, reporting on comments and notes, informing on changes and updates in regulations.
Our environmental service is executed by a qualified environmental engineer.
Our company has all necessary and obligatory licences and permissions of the authorities. We have contact to undertakings specialized in hazardous waste only.
Dismounting of industrial sites and facilities, taking residuals and scrap belongs to our fields of activity as well.
FÉMKER Ltd. is a significant supplier of the greates domestic and international secondary raw material processing sites. Our purchasing area covers the whole country, we buy from merchandisers and production facilities as well.
Our company has solid financial base and background thus we are also able to finance greater volume projects safely, and our suppliers are also very satisfied for their invoices are always paid in time.
